Overview

From May 2021 to May 2025 I was a Sr. Frontend Developer at Global66, a fintech specializing in international transfers and global multi-currency accounts. I took part in the first launch of the mobile app with NativeScript and later contributed to the evolution of key products in Flutter and Vue: wallets in CLP, PEN, ARS, COP, and USD, top-ups via ACH Colombia and CCA Chile, conversion quote calculators, P2P transfers, beneficiary creation, transaction history, and accounts. In high-complexity modules I applied SOLID principles and Clean Architecture to scale regulations and monetary limits for Colombia and Peru, reducing incidents in critical flows. I also documented every delivery and presented features to the team to align product, operations, and development.

  • Redesign of the frontend accounts layer (new accounts, limits, banners, and account number) with SOLID principles, successfully deployed to production
  • Conversion quote calculator built from scratch; redesign of the transfer and P2P quote calculator with a significant drop in incidents
  • Features and fixes in the beneficiary creation module, with a major reduction in operational incidents
  • Migration from Vue 2 mixins to Vue 3 composables to modernize the codebase and improve reuse
  • Migration of scattered business logic to Clean Architecture to centralize rules and ease maintenance
  • Took part in the migration from JavaScript with Vue and NativeScript to Flutter, with Dart and Flutter training at Global66 Tech
  • Documentation of features and fixes, with a team presentation for every delivery
