Privacy policy

Last updated: May 25, 2026

At davosdo.dev (the "Site") we handle your personal data responsibly and only for the purposes described in this document. By using the contact form, you accept this policy as it applies to that processing.

1. Data controller

Controller: David Vargas (davosdo.dev).
Privacy contact: hola@davosdo.dev

2. Data we collect

Depending on how you interact with the Site, we may process:

  • Contact form: name, email address, service of interest, budget range, and the message you choose to send us.
  • Technical browsing data: information that your browser or Cloudflare (our hosting and security provider) may record automatically, such as IP address, device type, or server requests, for the security and operation of the Site.

We do not request sensitive data (health, origin, beliefs, etc.) through the form. Please do not include it in your message unless it is strictly necessary for your inquiry.

3. Purpose and legal basis

We use your data to:

  • Read and answer your contact or quote request.
  • Manage the commercial or professional communication that follows from your message.
  • Protect the form against abuse (technical measures such as a honeypot, size limits, and anti-duplicate identifiers).

The main legal basis is your consent when you submit the form, together with our legitimate interest in answering professional inquiries and keeping the Site secure.

4. Recipients and processors

Your data may be processed by providers that help us operate the Site, including:

  • Cloudflare (hosting, Worker, protection, and the email delivery tied to the form).

These providers act as data processors within their services and under their own privacy policies. We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties.

5. Retention period

We keep form messages for as long as needed to answer your inquiry and, where appropriate, to maintain a reasonable record of professional communications. In general, this will not exceed 24 months from the last contact, unless a different legal obligation applies or you request deletion sooner.

6. International transfers

Cloudflare and related services may process data outside your country of residence. Where applicable, these transfers rely on the safeguards these providers offer (contractual clauses or other recognized mechanisms).

7. Your rights

Under applicable law (for example, the GDPR if you live in the EU, or local data protection laws), you can request:

  • Access to, correction of, or deletion of your data.
  • Restriction of, or objection to, processing.
  • Portability, where applicable.
  • Withdrawal of your consent at any time (without affecting prior lawful processing).

To exercise them, write to hola@davosdo.dev with your request and a way to identify you. You can also file a complaint with the data protection authority in your country.

8. Cookies and analytics

As of this update, the Site does not use its own analytics or advertising cookies. Cloudflare may use cookies or similar technologies that are strictly necessary for security and content delivery. See Cloudflare's documentation for more detail.

9. Security

We apply reasonable technical measures (server-side validation, basic anti-spam controls, encrypted HTTPS communication). No system on the Internet is 100% secure; if you notice a problem involving your data, contact us right away.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this text to reflect legal changes or changes to the Site. We will publish the current version at this URL with the revision date at the top. Continued use of the form after a significant change means you accept the updated version.
